Danube Revisited was an all female road trip along the Danube River in the footsteps of Inge Morth. The spirit of the project celebrated females working in photography. It opened up and made public the production of photography through it’s diverse program. A continually evolving public work - the process of making the photographs along the trip that resulted in the final exhibition for Photo Espana was a collaborative one. As we travelled along the Danube local creative communitties were invited (and actively sought out) to participate in and contribute to the work. Alongside this portfolio reviews and night projections were held in numerous cities along the way.
The trip took five weeks in total, and followed the journey shown on the Map below. Each photographer shot unique and personal work of their experiences during this epic road trip.
